Meet Rachel & Paige
Two trained life coaches and best friends on a mission to make friendship easy and help women build community!
We met in 2020 and as Rachel likes to say,
“Our energy immediately clicked and I knew Paige and I were meant to be friends.”
It’s a little less smooth the way Paige tells it…
”We first met at a yoga class and it all started with an awkward encounter before class. We both wanted to chat, but were too nervous to form full sentences.”
Paige is a 3/5 Generator and Rachel is a 3/5 Manifesting Generator.
Two Capricorns who love to work and are ready to usher in a new era of sisterhood.
We love creating experiences for women where they feel safe to be real, connect on a deeper level, heal sisterhood wounds, and travel to rad places while doing it!
Before BWC
Rachel felt lonely in a new city and was tired of trying to meet people on apps, work around busy schedules, and build real friendships.
Paige had grown apart from college friends and didn’t know how to ‘start from scratch.’ She was afraid to open her heart and feel fully supported in friendship.
Together, they learned that when you create friendship with intention, intimacy, and ritual - it drastically speeds up the process and creates a solid foundation.
We can't wait for you to discover how rich life can feel when you’re connected to your power and feel supported by a sisterhood community!
About Rachel
I was homeschooled growing up and I always felt “different.” I dreaded being asked where I went to school because I knew as soon as I answered, people would immediately treat me differently. I was used to being judged as the “weird kid” and as a result I had an intense desire to belong and be accepted by other girls my age.
At my core I was a girl who loved to be silly and spend my days reading fantasy novels, making fairy houses, and doing gymnastics outside but I felt like I had to hide those parts of myself to be “cool.”
By the time I was in college I was so disconnected from my inner child. I partied 3-4 nights a week, I wasn’t taking care of my body, and I was hyper focused on receiving external validation.
After college I did a full 180 and began taking care of myself, reconnecting to my inner child, and dating from a place of deep self-worth. I ended up meeting my now husband, Matt, diving back into self-development, and becoming a certified health and life coach.
But after two years of giving myself fully to my relationship and coaching business I realized I no longer had any friends (yikes).
In 2021 we moved to Austin, Texas and I thought I’d finally meet “my people.” But instead I felt more disconnected, lonely, and discouraged. I was joining Facebook groups, using apps like BumbleBFF, and going on coffee dates but I struggled to build meaningful friendships.
Around the same time I attended a transformative retreat where I experienced my first women’s circle. It had a profound impact on me and later inspired me to start the Baltimore Women’s Circle.
After moving back home my friendship with Paige deepened and for the first time I experienced how rich sisterhood can feel when you feel safe to be yourself around other women. I knew early on we were meant to build BWC together.
Since that point we’ve led women’s circle every month, hosted retreats locally and abroad, and we’ve created a community of over 5,000 women.
I know I’ll continue to grow and evolve on this journey, but at this moment some of my titles include women’s life coach, circle facilitator, retreat leader, human design reader, yoga teacher, wife, and soon to be mama :)
Some of my certifications include:
Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition
Master Somatic Life Coach through Training Camp for the Soul
Registered Yoga Teacher through Awakening Yoga Academy
Human Design Reader through Jenna Zoe’s Human Design Certification Courses.
About Paige
I was always that ‘cool chick’ tomboy who hung out with her boyfriend’s friends growing up. I had friends of my own, but felt more at home around the guys.
To put it simply, women scared the shit out of me.
Fast forward a few years post college and I found myself in a big old rut. I was in a long-term relationship for over 5 years and felt like I had lost myself. I realized that I was looking for most of my joy from this single person and didn’t have many other intimate relationships. On top of that, my body was starting to go through a myriad of its own health issues forcing me to look at myself and the way I was living my life.
I was run dry, dry, dry to the bone. Lifting weights and following a purely bro diet of chicken, veg, and rice with the occasional drizzle of mustard on top. Going to sleep and waking up just to do it all over again. I had the discipline thing down and it’s one of my many strengths to this day, but I was lacking love and sweetness.
I dove head first into personal development which brought me to women’s groups and women’s retreats. It scared the shit out of me, but left me feeling lighter and lighter each time I got uncomfortable and wore my heart on my sleeve.
I walked into a yoga studio at my gym in 2019 where Rachel was teaching yoga and never looked back. The way that we’ve learned how to lean into our friendship and love for one another despite the fears that arise is the catalyst for the mission at Baltimore Women’s Circle.
Ultimately, learning to trust my body and sisterhood brought me to where I am today.
I began to reshape wounds that I held within my body around women, my own femininity, and vulnerability feeling scary and weak. What I realized is that none of this could be done on my own. It was only in being vulnerable in relationship to other women that I was able to heal my fear of being seen and misunderstood.
I’ll give you the rundown of the titles that I’ve accumulated on this investigative journey back to health and wellness, but at the end of the day I’m just Paige.
